Service Center for Academic Societies of SCAST Pays a Field Trip to SCIMEA

On March 23, Shen Jun, Director of Service Center for Academic Societies of SCAST, and Song Yongjun, Deputy Director of Service Center for Academic Societies of SCAST, led a delegation to inspect the work of Sichuan International Medical Exchange & Promotion Association (“SCIMEA”). Zhang Mengfan, Secretary General of SCIMEA and the persons in charge of relevant departments participated in the inspection meeting.

At the inspection meeting, Secretary General Zhang Mengfan reported the basic information, main functions, main business directions in 2021 and Party building plan of the SCIMEA to Director Shen Jun and his delegation.


Director Shen Jun highly affirmed the work achievements of the SCIMEA, applauded the SCIMEA for its philosophy of internationalized, branded and specialized development, and pointed out that the SCIMEA should attach importance to forming expert think tanks to actively serve the decision-making of the Party committee, carry out in-depth research to grasp the overall picture of industry development, and pay attention to foreign affairs discipline and strictly follow the report procedures for approval of foreign affairs activities. Director Shen Jun also noted that he will strongly and actively support the SCIMEA to carry out branding activities and create top-rate journals.


Secretary General Zhang Mengfan thanked Sichuan Association for Science and Technology (SCAST) and the Service Center for their concern and support for the work of the SCIMEA, and said that they will strictly implement the requirements of the Service Center for the SCIMEA, and under the support and guidance of the SCAST and the Service Center, vigorously promote the specialized and branded development of the SCIMEA, better promote international medical exchanges in Sichuan and the western China, and better play the value of the SCIMEA in serving the experts, serving the society, and serving the Party committee and government.
